Day 3: Halfway There

17 Apr

Yesterday’s dinner = now today’s lunch. This is what it looks like in the fluorescent light of (just another NHS) day.

Just goes to show that everything they say about airbrushing is true. Cindy Crawford doesn’t wake up looking like Cindy Crawford. My food pictured last night did not start life looking like my food pictured last night. This is like the paparazzi picture from when it (the tupperware) emerges from the club at 5am missing a shoe, with vomit tracks down their gold lamé top.

Sorry I think I am a bit delirious.

On call this eve. Hence- ‘lunch’ carefully timed to precede the dinner trolleys by half an hour to optimise resistance to nicking patient food. It always smells so good!

Bleep missiles being fired my way left right and centre. Ttfn

Hi Joanne! Just wanted to say thank you from Action Against Hunger for doing such an amazing job on the fundraising front – it’s unbelievable! Well done, and thank you for choosing to support us. We’d love to feature your experience and blog on our website and to show our other Live Below the Liners how it can be done – if you’re interested in being involved please get in touch!
